Call to Artists for Meridian’s Initial Point Gallery Displays in 2026

The Meridian Arts Commission invites visual artists and artist groups to submit their artwork for display in 2026 at Meridian City Hall’s Initial Point Gallery.

The Initial Point Gallery hosts exhibits lasting one to two months, curated by the Meridian Arts Commission. These exhibitions showcase a diverse range of artwork from emerging or established artists across all mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, and more. The deadline to apply is Friday, May 30, 2025, at 3:00 PM. To learn more or submit an application, visit meridiancity.org/calltoartists.

The Initial Point Gallery is located on the third floor of Meridian City Hall, directly across from the Mayor’s Office reception area. The gallery is bright with natural light and offers approximately 100 feet of wall space for two-dimensional art. It also includes four hand-crafted display cases designed for three-dimensional works. The gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding holidays. Admission to the gallery and artist receptions is free and open to everyone.
